Understanding Adopt Me Trading Values & Demand
Pet values are influenced by rarity, age, neon status, and current player demand. Here's how each factor affects trade worth:
What Are Adopt Me Trading Values?
Trading values are community-agreed worth estimates for each pet, based on rarity tier and current demand. They differ from in-game prices because they reflect what real traders pay, not shop costs. A Frost Dragon might be sold once but trade for 50+ items based on community values.
Why Do Pet Values Change?
Values shift when developers release new pets, hold limited events, or remove items from rotation. Pets that were common become rare over time, increasing value. Conversely, when many players hold the same pet, its demand drops and value falls.
What is Demand?
Demand measures how many traders want a specific pet at any moment. High demand means easy retrading and stable values. Low demand pets, even if rare, can be hard to trade away. Demand ratings range from 1 (cold) to 5 (hot fire).
What Increases Pet Value?
Three factors boost pet value: (1) Aging up to Full Grown, (2) Making Neon by combining 4 Full Grown pets, and (3) Creating Mega Neon from 4 Neon pets. Mega Neon pets can be worth 8-10x the base value.
What Decreases Pet Value?
Pet values drop when developers re-release similar pets, hold drop-rate increases, or when community interest shifts to newer releases. Selling instead of trading also indicates falling demand.
